why is resilience important

Welcome back to another episode of The Dreamers Lounge Podcast! I'm really excited to have Becky Feigin, who is a multiple-six-figure business coach with a passion for helping women entrepreneurs build the business of their dreams.

She believes in having fun in your business, as do I, and building something that is both scalable and sustainable from day one. Becky brings seven-plus years of digital marketing and writing to the table to help women entrepreneurs build unique business strategies to help them reach their goals. When Becky isn't working, you can catch her binge-watching Parks and Rec on her couch while cuddling with her dog.

But before we dive right in, welcome! You’ve now entered into The Dreamer’s Lounge! I’m Ariel Schiffer, and I have made it my mission to take out the digital trash one bad course at a time. I am the creator of The Course Alchemist, Industrial Organizational Psychologist, and Curriculum and course design expert.

This podcast is for entrepreneurs who are looking to elevate their digital product suite so their offers speak for themselves. Nothing is worse than being oversold into something that under-delivers just like an overpriced bottle of wine. So, if you’re ready to develop high-quality offers, bring in consistent revenue, and have a business with long-term results for you AND your clients, grab your drink and join us inside…

Today, Becky talks about her journey to becoming a business owner, her love of social media and blogging from a young age, and how that all added up to what she’s built in her business today. Becky typically works with newer business owners with her signature course, The Abundant Business Academy.

Omnipresence and Showing Up Online

We all know that being present on multiple platforms is important. But it can be really overwhelming. Becky gets into her thoughts about picking a platform to really focus on if you’re feeling stressed over how you can best show up. Then once you reach a comfort zone in the first platform then you can work on expanding your brand.

There are a ton of moving parts regarding where you post and where you show up. If it’s really broken down step by step it’s a lot easier to process and implement. So if you can focus on marketing in a broader way it will benefit you in the long run.

Being an Adaptable CEO

Becky has coined the term “Adaptable CEO” which I love. She discusses how it goes back to the fact that business owners benefit a lot from being adaptable and flexible. Whether it’s using multiple platforms to reach different customers or clients, or taking on whatever the business world throws at you.

It’s important to take your own insecurities out of the equation when working with clients. You have to consider what is going to make you successful and what is going to help you feel more secure in everything that you're doing. And the answer is to follow your gut. If something is telling your gut telling you the way that you need to work or function, it’s not something you should ignore.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this post and it’s given you more insight into how resilience can really serve you and your business!
