In this episode of The Dreamer’s Lounge Podcast, I’m talking about why you as an online entrepreneur should actually give a fuck about having a good course. This is something I get so lit up about. My mission is to improve the quality of learning in the online business industry. And I fiercely believe that we owe it to our clients to provide them with the absolute best. Your shitty course has a ripple effect.

You can do a phenomenal job marketing your course. But what happens when you put all of your energy into selling and not enough into the actual development of your course? If your course is messy, mediocre, and unpolished, people will be less likely to finish it. And if they do finish it, they’ll leave without the knowledge they were seeking.
 
I promise you, it will be so much harder to sell your course in the future if it’s not super high-quality. Shit gets out! You won’t have as many testimonials, and prospective students will talk. You won’t get the referrals you need. You’re missing out and making it harder on yourself if you don’t design your course with intention. 

  

 

Be intentional with your course curriculum and design.

Your course is NOT a brain dump! People will not be able to make sense of that shit! If they can’t understand the process of the course, they’ll leave frustrated and without the transformation they want. A quality course is not offering all you have. It’s about getting intentional and very specific. You need to understand what your specific clients and need and want. 
 
Your course should match your clients’ needs. Try to accommodate different styles of learning. Make it visually appealing, and, for the love of God, make it on-brand. If I see another premiere branded Kajabi portal, I’m gonna lose it. Whether you are working solo or with a course designer like me, do everything you can to make it a fun, interesting, and valuable experience.

 

 

Why You Should Give a F*ck About Having a “Good” Course: The Bottomline

If your clients are paying money for something, they deserve to have a good experience! Don’t disappoint people with a shitty course. Actually give a fuck, put some real effort into it, and it will benefit you and your clients!
