In this episode of The Dreamer’s Lounge Podcast, I’m revealing my top tips for how to find the right course for you! Sorting through all the online courses out there is challenging, and purchasing a course is a major investment! You of course want to get your money’s worth, but how do you know it’s going to be worth it before you buy? In the episode, I’ll share what my biggest considerations are when I take my own courses and what I help my clients with so you can find the right course for you.

Read all you can.
The first thing I recommend doing to find the right course for you is to read all that you can about it.
Start with the sales page! So many people don’t read the sales page of what they’re buying, but you need to! It’s there for a reason, and it can give you really good insight as to whether the course is right for you.
Look on the sales page and see if there are details about:
- Why the course was created
- What’s included and the course (and what’s NOT included)
- Who the course is for (and who it’s NOT for)
If those details aren’t there, that’s a red flag. You need to find out more before you proceed!
Ask a shit ton of questions.
If you’ve got a question, ask! Of course, you can’t know everything before you enroll in a course, but you want to find out as much as you possibly can before you buy.
Talk to the person who created the course. You can ask them about the course itself, but I’d also recommend asking them about their teaching and educational style. You want to see if that will match well with how you learn.
I’d also highly recommend talking to their previous clients. Get some candid feedback. If they have testimonials on their pages, look those people up and talk to them. If they had a good experience, they’ll probably be happy to talk about it with you.
Stalk the course creator.
The last thing I recommend for finding the right course for you is that you definitely want to interact with the free content of the course creator as much as you can. Look at the resources they have available, especially what they say about their course.
If their free content is resonating with you, it’s a good sign that their course may be the right course for you. BUT. Keep in mind that their course content might be completely different than their free content. You don’t know for sure. So use these other tips as well so you can have the best experience.
