How Instructional Design Is Different in This Industry Than Corporate

Season #1 Episode #53

Calling all small businesses! This is just to let you know how much I love you. Cause I love you, like, a lot. Sure, I started out working with large corporations, and we had some good times. But toward the end there, I just felt like a cog in a machine. I wasn't seen or valued. And then you came around, and the rest was course creation history.

There are so many differences in working with small and large organizations, but corporate just doesn't hold a candle to the online business world!

In this episode, I'm excited to share more about:

  • The real stories behind working for some of the biggest corporations out there
  • Why I am so grateful to now work with small/independent businesses

I could really go on all day. I love that there's less red tape. I love that I just need one person to sign off, instead of 25 investors and the CEO's mom. I love that smaller businesses have quicker time tables and turnarounds, and I love that for my part, the jobs are so varied and interesting.

But most of all I love that in helping small businesses, I get to live my values and create with integrity. In conclusion, small business rules, corporations drool.
